If you have libnet-cups-perl installed on the machine you're running these commands on, then you're fine, but if you don't and try to use the locker version, then you'll get an error that you're missing RandomAccess?.pm:

We need to compile this module for i386 and amd64 on a Lucid machine and add it to the locker.

In order for the remctl volume commands to work correctly, they must know the correct channel and mixer to adjust. Right now this is hardcoded in, but it should really be an argument users can put in through debconf. Or, even better, add debconf to the gutenbach-remctl package and specify them there, since they aren't really necessary for the rest of Gutenbach.

There used to be a sipbmp3 web interfact at ​http://sipb.mit.edu/sipbmp3, but it no longer works since we switched from LPRng to CUPS. It needs to be updated such that it uses the correct syntax to interface with CUPS.
